THE LABOUR CONFERENCE.
By Telegraph—Press Association. WELLINGTON, October 31. The Labour Conference resolved to advise the Unions interested to hold a conferenqe and arrange for obtaining one award for the whole of the building trade. A resolution wan passed protesting against the exemption of Harbour Boards from provisions of the Conciliation and Arbitration Act. The conference affirmed the desirability of establishing a Dominion Labour paper. The conference has closed.
