AUSTRALASIAN CHAMPIONSHIPS. Received November 1, 12.58 a.m. BRISBANE, October 31. At the meeting in connection with the Cycling Championshins of Australia, the Half Miie Championship was won by Bell, of Queensland, and the Ten Miles Champoinship by Mutton, of Sydney.
TIMARU TO CHRISTCHURCH ROAD RACE. By Telegraph —Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, October 31. ° The road race over a distance of 112 miles from Timaru to Christchurch, took place to-day. Arnst, who was scratch, gained twelfth place, and put up the fastest time, 6 hours 34 min 25 sees.

Prizes for fastest times were unawarded as the League is holding an enquiry into . alleged irregularities. Collections taken up in the streets yeatt relay, in aid of the funds for general objects of the Society for the Pronation <>f Women and Children resulud in £6l being obtained.
