JHor some time past the Labour Department has been receiving a succession of applications for this class of worker and now the demand seems to be keener than ever. Some of the jobs waiting to be filled have been on the Department's books for over a fortnight. The biggest demand comes from the Manawatu and Taranaki districts. Apparently the only qualification insisted upon is that the men must be able to milk.
