The Prime Minister, Mr Asquith, replying in the [louse of Commons to Mr Bvle-s Liberal member for North Scotland, rJttratcc! that any intimation of Germany's desire for an agreement regarding reduction of armaments would meet with a most cordial response from the British Government.
Received September 10, 9.15 a.m BERLIN, September 9.
The "National Zeitung," commeeting on Mr Asquith's reply in regard to a reduction of armaments, declares that British supremacy on the sea is merely a matter of years.
