Also started. —Waiari, Purakau, Shannon Lass, Louis, Cork, Arapatam, Inveran. Won in the straight by a length. Time, 1 min ssec. Levin Handicap.—Lord Soult 9.3, Price, 1; Waiata 6.10, R. Young, 2; Naumai 9 5, Pritchard 3. Also started Hermia, Teru. Won easily by two lengths, Waiata just getting second. Time, Imin 4 4-5 sec. Moutere Hack.—Aberbrothock 10.2, Jenkins, 1; Sir Possible 7 3, Carroll, 2; Dolce 9.6, Trask. 3. Also started-—Pukewai. Won ail the way by a length and a half. Time, .lmin 15 l-ssec. Hack Hurdles.—Aotea 10.0, Pritchard, 1; Rawhiti 9.11, Young, 2; Waimaria i 0.2, Telford, 3. Also started;—Rangihaeta, Rendrock, Hatley, Yosami, Tambour Major, and Matira. A good race. Won from the last fence. Time, 2min 57sc. Weraroa Handicap.—lney 8 5, Hatch, 1; Sandstream 8.6, Griffiths, 2; Gaelic 10,7. Bennett 3, Also
tarted. —Toa Tuhi and Waihuka. A good ract. Won by half a length. Time, lmin 31sec. High Weight Handicap —Buoyant 8.3, Lambess, 1; Teotane 8.2, Lowe, 3; Waipunui 9.13, Jenkins 3. Also started —Rangikura, Cohort, Merry Messenger This was the beat race of the day. Won by a neck, a head between second and third. Time, lmin 21sec. Hack Scarry.—Lace Collar 8.4, Jenkins, 1; Waiata 9.3, Telford, 2; Undecided 8.0, Hatch, 3. Also started. —Captain Bell, Prevail, Lady Paul, Bravery, Lady Linton, Amphianser, Clover, Hauriki. Inveran, Captain, Celebrity. Lace Collar got a "break" on at the stand, and was never headed. Time, 51sec.
