GEEMAN AERONAUTS KILLED. SERIOUS ALLEGATIONS. United Press Assooiation-By Electric Telegraph Copyright. Received August 13, 8.55 a.m. ST. PETERSBURG, August 12. Russian guards fired at a German balloon, which was crossing the Bilesian frontier near Prozelaika, and compelled its descent. Three of the aeronauts in the balloon were killed, and a fourth was seriously wounded. The Germans state that the Russians opened fire before the balloon crossed the frontier. AN OFFICIAL CONTRADICTON Received August 13, 10.45 p.m. ST. PETERSBURG, August 18. The Silesian frontier incident is contradicted officially. It is stated that the aeronauts were merely detained, and their passports examined, they then being allowed to proceed on their journey.
