At the Auckland Police Court, yesterdaymurning, Thos. Dowd, master of the scow Flora, was charged with manslaughter in connection with the drowning pt Frederick Clark by the sinking of the scow in Auckland Harbour. Accused was remanded for a week, bail being allowed in one surety of £IOO.
