The warships Forte and Hermes and the Blue Anchor liner Geelowi are continuing the search for the missing steamer Waratah. H.M.S. Pandora will renew her search un Monday. Re-insurance on the Waratah has been raised to 80 guineas per cant., which is the highest rate ever paid for a vessel of that size. Underwriters suggest that the vessel may have broken her propeller or rudder, instancing the case of the Waikato, which was missing south of the Cape for a long time. Received August 13, 10.45 p.m. LONDON, August 13. The cruiser Hermes is searching for the Waratah in the south-eastern area, already covered by the Pandora.
