PALM-ERSTON N. f August 5. / Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd , Palmerston North, report, as follows on the Palmerston North stock sale:—Entries i<j all departments were below the average, only a few small lines coming forward, which sold at the following quota-tions.—-Forward wethers, 12s Sd to 13s Id; hoggets, 10s 8d to lis 2d; small hoggets, 7s 9d; springing cows, £4 10s to £6 153; cows in calf, £3 2s 6d to £3 15s.
