HIS ARRIVAL IN LONDON United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph Copyright. Received July 27, 11.25. a.m. LONDON, July 26. Sir Joseph Ward, Prime Minister of New Zealand, has arrived in London to attend the Imperial Defence Conference. Sir Joseph was accorded a civic reception on his arrival at Dover. A large gathering assembled at the Charing Cross Station to welcome the Premier to the Metropolis. Large numbers of New Zealanders were in attendance, and many members of the House of Commons, including Mr Sydney Buxton, the PostmasterGeneral. Sir Joseph Wwrd was given a most hearty reception.
