Lambs—Canterbury, light 4fd; medium, 4Jd heavy, 3*ll-16J. Beef —Prices unchanged. Australian Sheep —Heavy, 2 ?-l"6d; light, 27-16 d. Australian lambs -Best brands, 3 5-16 d.
Australian beef —Prices unchanged. River Plate sheep—Heavy, 2Jtd; light, 2|d. River Plate beef —Foreouarter r , 2Jd; hindquarters, 4Jd.

The High Commissioner cables as follows under date June 19th:
The mutton', market is firmer, and there is batter demand. Shipments are being made to America. Canterbury, 3d; Noith Island, 2Jd.
The lamb market is weak, stocks on hand heavy and widely distributed amongst agents, who are pushing sales, Canterbury, 4|d; North Island, 3|d.
The beef market Is quiet, but stocks of New Zealand beef on hand are light. New Zealand hinds are quoted at"4Jd, fores 2£d. The butter market is quiet but firm, with very limited supply of New Zealand butter. New Zealand choicest, 107s; Australian, 100s; Danish, Ills; Siberian, 1003. The cheese market is weak and inactive, N§W Zealand white, 61s; coloured, 625.
The wool market is quiet—prices slightly weaker. 36's, low crossbreds. Is; 40's, low crossbreds, Is Id; 44's, med'um crossbreds, Is 2d; 50's, hal?breds, Is 6Jd; 56's, quarter breds, Is lOd; 60's, merino's 2s 2£d.
