ALLAN HAMILTON'S COMPANY.
To-night Allan Hamilton's Company will make their first appearance in Masterton, when the new play "Queen of the N ght" will be presented for the first time. The play abounds in sensation, and quite recently had a very successful run at the Palace Theatre, in Sydney. The production was well spoken of by the press, special reference being made to the scenic effects. There is a striking representation of the wreck of a vessel in a storm, and other features which receive generous endorsement by the public. The Sydney press referred in laudatory : terms to the production there of i'nis melodrama by Mr Hamilton's Company. The "Daily Telegraph" said: "The Company's efforts largely assisted by the excellent scenic work of Mr Whaite, the most striking being the representation of the wreck in a storm. The action of the waves was well imitated, and the audience cordially manifested appreciation of the effect." On Monday night tlie Company will present "A Message From Mars."
