FATAL FIRE.
By Telegraph—Press Association. NAPIES, June 16.
Later particulars in connection with the fatal fire at Porangahau, by which Mrs Robinson, wife of the schoolmaster, lost her. life, show that the only occupants of the house at the time were the deceased and her child.
A man named Sutton managed to rescue a boy about three years of age, through a window. It was then impossible to enter the building.
The husband was in his workshop some distance to the rear of the house at he time, and wa3 unaware of the fire until the alarm was given by neighbours.
