DIRTY MELBOURNE.
STRONG INDICTMENT. Received June 11, 10.35 a.m. MELBOURNE, June 11. The newspaper "Age," in an article dealing with the condition of the city, says:-~"In all weathers and in all seasons, Melbourne persists in being one of the filthiest cities in the civilised world. During the recent wet weather the whole city at night was annointed witn pure beastliness. Collins street was simply carpeted with filth." The paper strongly denounces the citizens for tolerating such a state of things. _^
