HOCKEY.
By Telegraph—Press Association. AUCKLAND, June 9. Mr tl. Norden, President of the New Zealand Hockey Association, left by the s.s. Navua to-day en route to England. Mr Norden stated that during his stay in England he will approach the English Association in regard to the proposed visit of an English team of hockey players to New Zealand. The visit of an English team to New Zealand was mooted some time ago, and several schemes have been propounded. ~' A club visit was suggested at one time, but the general feeling is that a team coming out under the auspices of the English Hockey Association would be pre--ferable.
