The new Sultan, Mohammed V., has been invested with the Sword of Othman. There was a great military display. " crowds enthusiastically cheered the Sultan. Among the papers belonging to the deposed Sultan seized at Yildiz Palace, were letters from the Kaiser, and the private Imperial correspondence with Ab-dul Hamid during the Kaiser's visit in 1898. Documents were also found, showing that some reputed exiles were Ab-duL Ham id's- chosen agents. If Many[.bonds were discovered injihe Hn7ngT~or Prince Halmi's clothes. Halmi has desired that his wardrobe should be sent to Salonica.
