PROPOSED VISIT OF SOUTH AFRICAN TEAM. By Tebgraph—Press Association. WELLINGTON, May 6. At a meeting of the Council of the New Zealand Football Association, to-night, a latter was received from the South African Association, ac-. cepting an invitation from New Zealand to tour the Dominion and part of Australia during 1 910, on the following conditions:—The team to consist of 15 or 16 players, without a manager, this work to be carried out by the captain till the arrival of the team in New Zealand, where the duties would devolve on the N<j.w Zealand Association; the programme to embrace two or three matches weekly; the New Zealand Association to defray all travelling and hotel expenses during the journey and stay in the Dominion; the New ■ Zealand Association to take all receipts and profits, ard to be unner no further liability than specified; the team to be prepared for a short programme in Australia on the return ourney if time permitted without jnduly prolonging the tour, leaving 11 arrangements to the New Zealand Association.

The secretary stated that the receipts were estimated at £2,<J3O, • including j;£1,350 from guarantees, JSISO from Australia, and £275 contributed by the centres towards hotel expenses. The expenditure was put down at £1,803. It was decided to write to the New South Wales Association, starring that the cost of taking the team to Australia would be £810; that without the consent of the New Zealand Association it would not agree to play in Australia; that with that consent it would play two matches in each centre; and that it ■was thought that a fair proportion -for Australia to pay would be £270. It was suggested that New South Wales should pay £l2O, W«st Australia £IOO, and South Australia £SO. "
