MASTERTON HOMING PIGEON CLUB.
NOMINATIONS FOR LADIES' BRACELET. A meeting of the membeis of the Masterton Homing Pigeon Club was held last evening, in Mr R. B. Rosaon's rooms, when the nominations for the Ladies Bracelet race closed, eighty-one ' birds being entered. The first prize will be a handsome gold bracelet set with rubies and pearls, and the second prize a pretty gold brooch set with pearls. The prizes go to the ladies nominating the first and second birds, and the owner of the winning bird will take Mr J. Bradbury's trophy. The birds will be liberated at Palmerston North at 12.30 o'clock this afternoon. The following are the entries: —
