WAIRARAPA HUNT CLUB.
The second "meet" of the season in connection with the Wairarapa Hunt Club took place at Clareville yesterday afternoon. About twenty riders took part in the run, and a most enjoyable afternoon's sport resulted. There were only two falls during the run, and they were fortunately not of a serious nature. The drag was laid by Mr Neil Douglas on Atarangi, and the other riders were Mesrss W. H. Buick on Firestick (Master), H. Welch (Huntsman) on Little Wonder, R. McGuinnesg (Hon. Whip) on Kahukura, H. Douglas on Haka, P. Tilson on Wainui, S. Mason on Caroline, N. Douglas on Atarangi, F. Secombe on Golden Day, 0. Cadwallader on Koraurau, F. Hercock on Clovial, F. Floyd on Jess, J. O'Dooyer on Rata, L. Vallance on Moonlight, W. Vernon on Tui, A. Kennedy on Case Whiskey, J. Ullion on Traylock, J. Grant on Kurunui, G. Neich on DolJy, W. Desmond on Buster Brown, H. Falloon on Frolic. The run started from the Taratahi Hotel, and after running through several properties, finished up at the starting place.
