DUTIES ABANDONED. United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph Copyright. Received April 23, 9.15 a,m. BERLIN, April 22. Owing to their , popularity Prince von Bulow, the Imperial Chancellor, has abandoned the proposed duties on gas, electricity, and advertisements. The Chancellor declares that other taxes will be found, and the estate duty will be turned into a legacy duty. A financial deadlock in the Reichstag is threatened.
