"RAINBOW" EXHIBITION.

For the "Rainbow" Exhibition, which will be opened on Wednesday next, at 3 p.m., in the Drill Hail, in aid of the new Methodist Sunday School infant room, arrangements are about complete. A very important feature of the Exhibition will be the elocutionary contest, for ladies and gentlemen, and boys and girls, and for which prizes have been donated by Masterton citizens. Mrs F. Dupre has been appointed judge for this contest. Another feature will be the cooking competition for ladies and girls (men and boys may enter), and for which a large number of entries have already been received. There will also be six well-stocked stalls, numerous side-shows, and various other competitions.
