CARTERTON v. WELLINGTON METROPOLITAN TEAM. By Telegraph —Special to the Wairarapa Age. CARTERTON, April 12. In a hockey match here this afternoon, Carterton beat the Wellington Metropolitan team by 12 goals to nil. Mr W. J. Bannin was referee. W.F.C.A. v. DANNEVIRKE. A match was played yesterday afternoon, between the W.F.C.A. and Dannevirke teams, and resulted, after a good exhibition of hockey, m a win for the former by 3 goals to 2. Pragnell (2), and Brown scored goals for the winners, and Loader and Jones for Dannevirke. The Ramblers Hockey Club will hold a practice on Wednesday morning, on the Showgrounds.
