( fell at the six.furlongs post the first time round, when lead-' ing. Autumn Stakes.—Trafalgar 1, see 2, Artillerie 3. A great raca home. Won by a neck. Time, 2min 35isec. Sires' Produce Stakes. Prince Foote 1, Malt King 2, Giddyea 3. Doncasttr Handicap.—Hyman 1, Irishman 2, Virtue 3. All 27 acceptors started. Won by four lengths.' Time, lmin 38Jsec. St. Leger.—Lord Nolan 1, Vavasour 2, Monobel 3. The other starter,' Flaxen, was first away, and soon established a lead of a length and a half from Lord Nolan and Monobel. At the half-mile Flaxen was still in front, but at the three furlongs post Monobel headed the field, and entered the straight on even terms. A little further Lord Nolan drew out, a: d won by a length and a half with Monobel threequarters of a length off. Time, 3min ssec. High-Weight Handicap. Param~ 1, La Patrie 2, Barley Brew 3. Won by a length. Time, lmin ssec. The weather was fine and the attendance very large. Hyman's win waa a great surprise, he being a complete outsider.
