The proceedings opened with a special anniversary hymn sung by th© children, which waa followed by a fairly lengthy programme as jfollow:—Dialogue, "The Curiosity/' by_ Clifford Miles, *J Arnold""Cork" Connie^ Corlett and%Mary"MacKenziejjre citation, "Guess ."What's in My Pocket," Nessie Chappell; sorg, Dorothy_Cork; recitation, "When 1 School,'V Mabel Chappell; song, "The" Last~Milestone,"~"MFs Falla (encore "Dream of Paradise") 5 recitation, "The Day is Done," Chrissie Peters; solo and chorus, "Blessed Surrehder," Master Ronald CHchton; recitation"," - ""lnjhe Zoo," Lester Pryor; recitation"* "Maggie," Hilda Mayr; Scotch recitation, "Cuddle Doon,"jßessie |McKenzie; dialogue, "Aunt Queerbody," members of Young Women's Junior Bible Class; song, "Nearer My God to Thee," Miss J. McGregor (encore, "Nature Has Gone to Her Rest"); recitation, "Where She Got Out," Laurie Christian; recitation, "Little Romp,"__ Alice Christian; recitation, "My Wish," Alice Bedford; Scotch recitation, "My Mither," Esther Miller. During the evening the annual report and balance sheet of the Sunday School was read, which showed the total number of scholars of the roll to be 182 (exclusive of the three Bible Classes). The average attendance in the infant class showea .69 per cent, and other classes 71 per cent. The attendance during the year had increased considerably, due in a great respect to the efforts of Miss Lachlan, the absentee visitor. Praise! was given to Mr R. J. Young, who had devoted a great deal of time and attention to the musical training of the children, and also to Miss J. McGregor. t - The balance sheet showed the credit balance to be £8 16s 9d, and the expenditure £l6 18s sd. The sum of £lO 9s lOd was received' in connection with the mission fund, and this with the addition of other monies received brought the amount up to £l2. Rev. A. T. Thompson congratulated the teachers on the success of their; noble work, and Mr Jas. McGregor endorsed his remarks in a few well chosen words.
