HOCKEY.
MASTERTON RAMBLERS CLUB. A meeting of ladies was held in the Y.M.C.A. building last evening for the purpose of forming a new club. Mr B. Ivesun occupied the chair, and there were also present:— Kyle, J. Scott, M. O'Toole, C. Evans, M. Scott, E. Johnston, J. Evans. W. Logan, M. McCalmont, E. Miller, I. Curry, F. Duggan, F. Miller, R. Evans, K. O'Leary., It was decided, ,on the motion of Miss F. Miller, seconded by Miss K. O'Leary, to call the club the Masterton Ramblers Ladies Club, and that a team be entered for the Ladies JSenior'Championship. The following officers were elected: —Patron, Hon. A. W. Hogg: President, Rev. Dean McKenna;, VicePresidents. Messrs J. C. McKillop, F Dupre and Rev. A. T. Thompson; Captain, Miss K. O'Leary; ViceCaptain, Miss W. Logan: Secretary, Mis 3 F. Miller; Selsction Committee, Misses K. O'Leary. W. and Mr B. Iveson; Delegates" to Ladies' Hockey Association; Misses O'Leary and F. Miller; Trainer, Mr G. Thynne. ■ On the motion of Miss 0 Leary, seconded by Miss Kyle, it was decided that the colours should be navy and dark green. The subscription was fixed at 2s. Besides those present the following were elected members:—Misses D. Harper, M. Collins, N. O'Leary, K. Cairns,' E. Devonport, A. Devpnport and G. Gordon. 1 KNOX CLUB. The annual meeting of Knox Hockev Club was held in Knox Hall last evening. Mr J. Gray presiding over a lavge attendance of members. It was decided to enter Junior and Senior teams for the Wairarapa Hockey Association's competitions. »The following officers weie elected for the ensuing year:—Patron, Mr J. Macara; President, Rev. A. T. Thompson; Vice Presidents, Hon. A. W. Hogg, Dr. Cowie, and Messrs T " Hume, J. Strang, and A. Henderson ; captaiiv Mr J. Gray; vicecaptain; Mr A. Dixon; secretary and treasurer, Mr W. Hornblow; Management Committee, Messrs Tocker, Reynolds, and N. Boyd, and officers ex officio; Delegates to Wairarapa Hockey Association, Messrs J. Gray and W. Hornblow. It was decided to commence the season on Thursday with a scratch match. A trophy for the member attending practice most regularly was promised by Mr W. Home. A number of new members were, elected. /
