A BIG SCORE. Received March 15, 10.20 a.m. MELBOURNE,, March 15. In the public school cricket, Prout, captain of the Wesley College team, scored 459. This is the fourth highest score in the world. Prout batted for six hours and a half. HJs side made 710—an Australian school record. Prout has been two or three years at Wesley College, and has a good reputation as a batsman. The highest individual 3core ever made in any match (628 not out) was that obtained by A. E. J. Collins, at Cilfton, England, in 1899, for Clarke's House v. North Town. The game extended over five afternoons, Collins's innings lasting altogether six hours and fiftyfive minutes. The following is the Wellington Pnblic Schools' representative team
