A PORTER THE VICTIM. HERR BECKERT ARRESTED. LONDON, February 12. The German Chancellor at Santiago de Chile (Herr Be'cktrt) has been arrested for embezzling £I,OOO. The body found in the ruins of the chancellory at Santiago has been identified as that of the porter,' wLo had betn stabbed prior to the lire, tn 1 was suppused to have absconder!.
