STOCK MARKET.
Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report on their Masterton stock sale held yesterday as follows: —An extra heavy yarding of lambs, considerably over 3,500, were submitted to a large attendance. Bidding at auction was extremely brisk, and we had jno difficulty in quitting every line under the hammer at full market rates. In cattle, some extra good bullocks were submitted, and met with an animated sale. We quote— Sheep: Woolly lambs, 9s sd, 9s 7d, 9s lOd, 10s to 10s Gd; shorn . lambs, 8s 2d, 9s to 9s 7d; inferior lambs, 7s to 8s 2d; fat lambs, 12s; store ewes, 7s 2d to 12s sd; wethers, lis 3d. Cattle: Forward bullocks, £6 Is to £6 16s; 3 year old steers (medium), £4 15s; 2J year old steers, £3 10s. Pigs: Weaners, 10s 6d.
