EXPLOSION OF GELATINE.
SIX MEN KILLED. MAD ACT OF A CHINESE. Received January 17, 4.30 p.m. JOHANNESBURG, January IR. A Chinese, for a motive unknown, ignited a quantity of gelatine in a deep mine at Johnnesburg. The explosion killed six coloured labourers, and injured nine whites and fifteen coloured men.
