MEAT CONSUMPTION.
LOWER PRICES ANTICIPATED. . Received January 15, 8.10 a.m. LONDON, January 14. The Colonial Consignment and Distributing Company's annual review of the frozen meat trade anticipates lower prices for the current year than prevailed last year, as the purchasing power is restricted, and the rate of meat consumption can only be maintained at low prices.
