ADA CROSSLEY'S CONCERT.
At "The Dresden" this morning the box plan will be opened for the only concert to be given in Masterton by the famous Australian contralto, Madame Ada Crossley. Madame Crossley's party is perhaps the strongest combination of concert artists that has ever visited Australia. Foremost amongst them is Mr Percy Grainger, Australia's brilliant pianist. Next is the great English tenor, Mr John Harrison, whose name has become a household word. M. Leon Samotini, the young Dutch violinist, created quite a furore in Sydney and Melbourne by his magnificent playing. Madame Crossley is pursuing a definite plan with regard to the selection of pieces for the programme she has prepared for her Australian tour. Recognising the inherent love of all concert goers for the old ballads she is of course going to include the best and most sincere of those in her numbers.
