Dash Handicap Trot—Merry Lady 1, Ella 2, Ruatapa 3. Westland Handicap—The Orient 1, Investment 2, Hamua 3. Also started—Ada, Armamento, Lawn Rose, Ruapehu and Freeland. Won by a head. Kanieri Handicap Trot —Prudence 1, Cobra Lady 2, Ella 3. High-weight—Hamua 1, Freeland 2, Coxswain 3.
Flying Handicap—Adria 1, Hillspring 2, Silent Member 3. The su-n of £2,902 went through the totalisator.
