Missrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report having received the fol'owing cable messages from their London House, under date of the 17th instant: —Sheepskins Sales closed firm. As compared with the closing; rates of last series, prices were higher as follows Merino sheepskins id, crossbred |d to Id, short woolled and shorn pelts ?>d. Ten thousand bales were offered_and practically all sold. Frozen Meat—There is a limited demand for New Zealand lamb, mutton and beef. Quotations are as follow New Zealand ox beef fores, 3d per lb: New Zealand prime ox b2ef hinds, 3Jd per lb; New Zealand crossbred lamb, Canterbury heavy, 4£d per lb; do., light, sjjH; do North Island heavy, 4id do, light, 5Jd; New Zealand prime crossbred mutton, Canterbury heavy, 3£d; do. light, 3gd; do, North Island heavy, 3£d; do., liaht, 2d. Ta'.low—On the average prices for tallow in general are 3d per cwt. higher, but are unchanged for c.i.f. parcels. Rabbit Skins—Market firm, Except present prices to be fully maintained at next sales.
