FOREIGN LEGION MUTINY.

CAPTURE OF THE LEADER

R.ceived December 18, 8.30 a.m. LONDON, December 17. It is reported that the leader of the Foreign Legion mutiny in Morocco has been captured. Parisian papers state that the headquarters of the desertion agency are at Cologne, in Germany.

A recent cablegram stated that the leadsr of the mutineers was a Bavarian ex-officer. After deserting with their arms from the French Foreign Legion at Casablanca, he and a band of fifty htld up a train bound for Oran, and then disappeared in the desert. All were suusequently captured, it was reported yesterday, except the leader. It was believed the desertions were promoted by a German agency.
