CAPETOWN, December 17

The South African Union Convention delegates visited the naval docks at Simonstown, and were deeply impressed with the works as a visible evidence of Imperial power.

The docks are able to accommodate the Dreadnought, or any vessel afloat except the Cunard liner Mauritania. They cost two and a half millions sterling.
