As the result of a heated discussion on the Licensing Bill in the Legislative Council, the 'Hon. E. Lucas attempted to strike Mr Wilson, a Labour member, in the face. Mr Wallis, another Labour member, intervened, and received a blow on the chest. Mr Lucas endeavoured to reach other members, hulMr Wallis hsld him.
