SENSATIONAL ARREST.

A MUCH-MARRIED MAN. CURIOUS COINCIDENCE. A STORMY SCENE. By Telegraph—Press Association. DUNEDIN, December 16. A sensational arrest was effected this afternoon, wh n a man rjamed Thomas FJynn, a ;ed about thirtyeight, who is allegad to have three living wives, was apprehended on a warrant charging him that he did, on 4th Febrrary, 1904, at Dunedin, being a married p-rso- , go through the form cf marri ige with a single woman.

Flynn, who is d scribt d as a carpenter and labou'er, is said to have come from Launc;:ston about seven years ago. He married a girl at Arrowtowr.. He subsequently came to town, and is said to have married another woman in 1904.

/ lt is further alleged that last month Flynn married a third woman under the name of Gilway. He has had children by all three wives.

Some time ago nis second wife became suspicious and got an admission from Flynn that hs was already married, and she than refused to have anything to do with him. By a curious coincidence the third wife, after coming out of a maternity hospital destitute, wa3 taken to the second wife's houso.

Suspicions were subsequently aroused, and both nitst Flynn in the street, where a stormy scene enbued, the information being afterwards laid.
