MASTERTON CLUB. —LADIES' SINGLES MATCH.
The following are the handicaps ' and drawings for the Ladies' Handicap Singles:—Miss E. Vallarice, receives 15J, bye; Miss Wright, receives 15J, plays Miss Holmes, receives 15; Miss Robieson, receives 15, plays Miss D. Bennett, receives 30; Miss N. Bennett, receives 30, plays Miss N. Whitcombe, receives 15£; Miss L. Whitcombe, receives Jls, plays Mrs W. H. Cruickshank, owes £ls; Miss A. Payton, receives 15£, plays Miss Williams, receives 15; Mrs A. Caselberg, receives £ls, plays Miss W. Bennett, receives 30; Miss M. H. Payton, owes 30, bye. First round to be completed by Saturday, 12th instant. Second round to be completed by Saturday, 19th instant. Third round and final to be completed before Christmas. The combined Yankee Tournament will be played off on the Masterton Tennis courts on Saturday next. Entries will be received by the Hon. Secretary up till 1 p.m. on Saturdey. Play will commence at 2 p.m. sharp. The lawn tennis match between Pahiatua and Masterton to be played at Pahiatua will probably take place on Saturday week.
