SUGGESTED TAXATION. Received November 26, 9 p.m. LONDON, November 25. The [."Daily Chronicle" advocates a tax of a penny a pound on land values, yielding twenty-two and a half million pounds. The "Daily News" declares it possible to raise seven millions yearly by increasing the liquor taxation to the American level.
