WESTERN AUSTRALIAN BUDGET, c Received November] 25, 11 a.m. PERTH, November 25. The Hon. F. Wilson, Colonial Treasurer, delivered his Budget. The year ended with a deficit of ,£1,365. There will be no salary increases, the land and income taxes will be reimposed, and it is proposed to impose a penny in the shilling tax on sports, amusements, and race meetings. MURDER AND SUICIDE. Received November 25, 11 a.m. PERTH, November 25. Richard Scott, who murdered his ■wife on the 13th' instant, succumbed to self-inflicted wounds. Scott, while suffering from melancholia, cut his wife's throat, and then fatally wounded himself.
