TOWNS ENTERTAINED.
LONDON, November 24. Seventy prominent oarsmen and sportsmen' entertained George Towns, ex-sculling champion of the world, at a dinner at Putney. Mr W. H. Eyre, who presided, eulogised Towns as a genuine sportsman, of whom all were proud.
