QUESTION OF TIED HOUSES

LONDON, November 13

Mr Asquith, the Prime Minister, will, in the House of Commons, move an amendment to the Licensing Bill to the effect that no new licenses shall be granted to tied houses.

"The Times" advises the House of Lords to reject the Licensing Bill, since it will be impossible to amend the confiscatory principle.
