INVERCARGILL, November 13.

At a largely-attended meeting of sawmillers, to-day, the depression in the timber trade and the heavy accumulation of stocks was discussed. The opinion was that the position had never been so acute. It was unanimously resolved to reduce the output by at least one-third, and that all mills close down on December sth.
