MASTERTON TRUST LANDS TRUSTEES.
' MONTHLY MEETING. The ordinary meeting of the Masterton Trust Lands was held last evening. There were present Messrs C. E. Daniell (chairman), E. G. Eton, R. Krahagen, T. Wagg, W. H. Jackson. Leave of absence was granted to Messrs T. B. Michell and H. C, Robinson.
The Treasurer's report showed a credit balance at the Bank of £lO6 17s «d.
Mr S. Gee wrote asking the Trustees to paint the house occupied by him in Dixon Street. —It was decided to expend £5 towards the cost, the Chairman of the Trust to maKe the necessary arrangements.
The Secretary of the Wellington Harbour Board wrote acknowledging receipt of copies of covenant Trust to Commissioners, and forwarding Old debentures to the value of £2OO. The Secretary of the Board also wrote to ask what sums the Trustees would be likely to want next year out of the loan subsequent to March 31st next before August 28th. —It was decided to reply that no money V ould be required before August, and that the Trustees would give six months' notice when any would be required.
Mr C. A. Pownall wrote making a demand on account of the Borough Council for £5 14s 6d unpaid rates and Court costs on part Town Acre 88, judgment for which was given against Mr A. Irvine.—lt was decided that the secretary obtain information and report. The Public Trustee wrote accepting the office of Sinking Fund Commissioner for the building loan. The Royal Picture Company wrote asking if a weekly tour could be arranged in the Town Hall for a period of six months, and on what terms. After some discussion it was decided to refer the matter to the Secretary to obtain further information.
The Very Rev. Dean McKenna, asking permission to be allowed to remove the partition and seats in the auditorium of the Tcwn Hall for the Church bazaar to be held next month. —lt was decided to grant the application un certain specified conditions.
Mr C. A. Pownall forwarded assignment of lease, A. A. Rebay to H. Johnson, for the Trust's signature. The tender of WairarapaAge was accepted for printing sixty copies of the standing orders. Accounts amounting to £32 7s 6d were passed for payment. It was decided, on the motion of Mr Jdfekson, to hold the future meet-
ings of the Trust at 8 o'clock in etead of 7.30 p.m.
