RESTRICTIONS IN THE PROVINCES.

LONDON, October 31
The clause in the Licensing Bili restricting the opening of hotels on Sundays in the provinces to three hours was adopted by the House of Commons by 237 votes'to 55. The Government proposes to extend the restriction to London, owing to the favourable reception of the clause.
