THE GAYNDAH MURDER.

AN ARREST MADE. Received October 20, 11.45 p.m. BRISBANE October 20. A young man named Ross has bean arrested in connection with the murder of J. Muir, a junior clerk employed 5 at the Commercial Banking Company's branch at Gayndah (a small township 20 miles northwest of Brisbane), who was found shot dead in the back of _ the Gayndah premises on Sunday night. Two civilians shadowed Ross while one was absent bringing the police, and Ross bolted into the bush. The police subsequently tracked him, and arrest?d him. A revolver and large knife were found in his possession.
