TOUR OF THE " WALLABIES." PENYCRAIG DEFEATED. By Telegraph—Press Association. Received October 12, 12.55 a.m. LONDON, October 11. On Saturday "The Wallabies," 11 points (a goal, a penalty goal and a try) defeated Penycraig, who scored a try (3 points). The ground was heavy, but the game was fast in the first half.

"The Wallabies" —the Australian amateur Rugby team—have so far been victorious in all five matches played. The "All-Blacks" team of 1905 did not meet Penycraig. The following table gives the record to date of the Australians, compared with that of the New Zealanders:— Versus "Wallabies." "All-Blacks."

AUSTRALIAN PROFESSIONAL TEAM. DEFEAT OF ROCHDALE HORNETS. Received October 12, 12.55 a.m. LONDON, October 11. Rochdale Hornets played the Australian League team yesterday. The latter were on the defensive in the first half. There was a considerable amount of rough play. The referee cautioned several players. Australia won by 5 points to nil. The Australian professional team has won the three matches played so far.
