The House resumed at 2.30 p.m. The Thames Borough Gas Bill , Wellington City Empowering Bill, Hutt Valley Tramway District Bill, Ross Golclfields Electric Power Transmission Bill, Foxton Harbour BoaH Bill, Carterton Borough Council Vesting and Enabling Bill, Napier Harbour Board Empowering ard Municipal Public Baths Bill, Auckland and Suburban Drainage Bill. Wellington City Empowering Bill were put through Committee.

All the Bills dealt with during the day were read a third time and passed. The House adjourned at fi p.m. The House resumed at 7.30 o'clock. The Premier that the House go into committee on thft. Local Authorities Superannuation Bili, VVl:lfiJi ffl. designed to enable local public bodies to establish superannuation funds ion fcbeir employees. Sir J. G. Ward said tftat in committee he would move amendments to enable he local authorities to" ea* tablish a united fund. Mr VV. F. Massey approved of the? principle of the Bill.
