IMPROVING RUGBY FOOTBALL.
CONFERENCE OF DELEGATES. By Telegraph—Press Association. WELLINGTON, Octooer 8. The delegates to the New Zealand! Rugby Union are to-night discussing the alterations to the rules of RugbyResolutions agreed to so far cover the following:— The abolition of the charge in the case of free kick or kick at goal;: throw in'from touch to* be not less than five yards; any player to be penalised who shall cross an imaginary line through the backs of" the scrum on his own siae while" the ball is in the scrum. This abol-ishes-the wing forward.
