ACCIDENTS TO STEAMERS.

The steamer Takapuna, when clearing the wharf to-night, collided with the stern of the Athenic. The only visible damage was the breaking of the A theme's stern light. The Takapuna proceeded on her voyage "to New Plymouth. The Blackball Co.'s steamer Petor.c passed Farewell Spit at 0 o'clock to might for Wellington under sail and slow steam, her cylinder top being damaged.
